Community Service

The Academy is committed to nurturing caring children who wish to give back to their communities. In that vein, our students participate in several charitable initiatives throughout the school year.

Examples include:

Nursing home visits and performances
Thanksgiving food drive
Winter clothing drive
Alex’s Lemonade Stand
Cradles to Crayons
Book drives
Fundraising for various charitable causes including Armenian orphans and Syrian refugees

Various theater and musical performances throughout the school year
End of year closing musical (Hantes)

Girls on the Run

Girls+on+the+Run
Girls running club that teaches life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and running games.
The 24-lesson curriculum is taught by certified Girls on the Run coaches and includes three parts: understanding ourselves, valuing relationships and teamwork and understanding how we connect with and shape the world at large.

School Clubs

ASA offers an array of clubs scheduled on Tuesday afternoons. Students have the opportunity to participate in two clubs a year.
